What is Business Interchange?
For businesses, a vocational placement is an ideal opportunity to work with local learning and skills providers who can help you meet future staff requirements, and to support local people in learning.
Business Interchange is a government–funded programme which aims to help the learning and skills sector adopt business placements as a lasting model, and follows a large-scale pilot in 2007/08 which successfully delivered over 500 work placements.
It supports the use of structured work placements for tutors in the sector, and parallel exchanges which allow people from organisations like yours to spend time with a local college or learning provider to gain a better understanding of further education.
