Business Interchange placement outputs
When you have finished your placement, you will need to evaluate your experience and upload your outputs using the Learning and Skills Improvement Service Excellence Gateway.
The output of your placement, which will be based on the objectives and outcomes you set at the beginning of your placement, will really help you and your line manager to measure whether your placement has been effective or not, ensuring that the activity has a positive impact on learners and on your relationships with business.You should also determine how you will share your learning within your organisation and the wider learning and skills workforce through the Learning and Skills Improvement Service Excellence Gateway.
Below are some examples of good quality outputs that can be found on the Excellence Gateway to give you some ideas of how you could showcase your own outputs:
- Case study produced following a Business Interchange placement at the office of an MP
- Presentation produced after a placement at a television station
- Lesson plan produced following a visit to a kennels
- Learning materials produced following a placement at a travel company
- Case study of a placement at a security firm
- Report on the experience of a participant who visited a childcare establishment
